Three Sections
Sort every menu bar item into Visible, Hidden, or Always-Hidden. Click the iobar icon to show or hide the Hidden section, and Option-click for Always-Hidden.
Built for macOS 27
Hidden items are concealed through macOS 27's own menu bar mechanism instead of spacer tricks, so the bar stays tidy and apps keep running normally.
Hidden-Items Bar
Keep hidden items out of the menu bar and open them in a Liquid Glass bar right under the icon. Click an item there and its menu opens as usual.
Layout Editor
Drag items between sections in Settings, or Command-drag them across the iobar icon on the menu bar itself. The layout is saved and survives app relaunches.
Global Shortcuts
Record your own shortcuts to toggle the Hidden and Always-Hidden sections from anywhere, with a warning if macOS already uses the combination.
Your Icon, Your Look
Pick one of several icons or use your own image, and tune the hidden-items bar's spacing, darkness, and transparency. Launch at login keeps it ready.

Install
- 1Open the DMG and drag iobar into the Applications folder.
- 2Open iobar. It asks for the Accessibility permission, which it needs to arrange menu bar items.
- 3Screen Recording is optional. Allow it to see the real item icons in the hidden-items bar.
